True Grit Mud Run supports Operation Homefront

True Grit Mud Runs are an ABSOLUTE BLAST! If you are in the mood for some DIRTY FUN that you won’t be ashamed of, come join us, we will be putting a series of 5k obstacle mud run adventures across Arizona’s diverse terrain. Bring your family and friends, enjoy a challenging day of outdoor fun with almost no rules, except the Golden one!! We have designed a fun filled yet challenging journey through terrain that winds its way around and through portions of Arizona’s beautiful landscape. TRUE GRIT MUD RUNS are filled with awesome obstacles that will have you crawlin', jumpin', divin' and slidin' all over the place! This fun filled 5k is not only good for your body and soul, but also good for your inner child as you take on the mud in this fun-filled race.

Enjoy Food, Music, and a friendly atmosphere while you check out your “Grit Bag” full of cool stuff, including a “TRUE GRIT” T Shirt for those of you who pre-register for our events. True Grit Mud Runs encourage friendly but challenging adventures for all ages. While we will include obstacles common in other runs, we will also take advantage of Mother Nature’s beauty and diversity. It can’t get better than that!

TRUE GRIT MUD RUN GIVES BACK

The TRUE GRIT MUD RUN event is working with Operation Homefront of Arizona, a non-profit organization devoted to helping our Arizona military, and their families.  OH gives 94% of all donations back to their program. A portion of the proceeds will be given to Operation Homefront of Arizona.

After you have parked, you will take a short stroll to the start/finish area where you will find registration, party, food, drink, souvenirs, and a swimming hole for you and the kids!

Tell your loved ones goodbye as you start out on the 5k obstacle course and when it’s time, we’ll get you wet right away with a trip into the “BIG LAKE”. Then it’s onto a grassy path under some shade trees, and onto the trail for some exciting obstacles. The trail will wind through the cedar trees, over hill and dale to the slides, they are fun and fast and will land you in a clear lake or two, and maybe a lake or two that is not so clear. "A little smut won't hurt you," You're lucky to be where water's so handy.

The trail continues with several challenges, steep grades, mud and fire. Eventually you will enter the “BATTLE FIELD”, a big hole in the ground filled with grunge adventures that will make you go EEEWWWW!(You can deal with all of it, if you have TRUE GRIT or press the “EASY BUTTON” take a short cut, and lie to your friends about how tough you are)

 Then it’s back to the FINISH and the waiting fresh water bath. Hang around, check out the vendors. Thank the people from OPERATION HOMEFRONT for helping our MILITARY MEN, WOMEN and their FAMILIES that are in need. Get some pictures & listen to some music, relax, you deserve it!
