ZombieStomp Race Returns To The Silver Shoe Ranch in Dalton, GA Saturday, April

The “Zombie Stomp Race,” an obstacle course/mud race and fun run, will return to the Silver Shoe Ranch in Dalton, Georgia on Saturday, April 20, 2013. Until March 15, registration fees are $60 for individuals for the 5K; $65.00 for the 10K; $220 for four-person teams for 5K and $260 for four-person teams for 10K. There is a discount for military, police and firefighters. The children’s One-Mile Fun Run is $30 per entrant. Participants in last year’s race will receive a 20 percent discount and free t-shirt.

Designed to have something from the most avid athlete to families with kids of all ages, Zombie Stomp includes a 5K and 10K course. Local businesses, colleges, high schools, and churches are encouraged to create teams and participate in the fun, friendly competition. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Georgia Alzheimer’s Association.

Race start times are staggered from 8:00 to 12:00 noon. In addition, the one-mile obstacle/mud fun run for kids 7 to 14 will be held at noon. All participants receive a medal and t-shirt. Trophies will be awarded to the top three women, men, teenagers and youth participants.

Following the race, enjoy live music, food from local vendors and beer.
